Is IFS Right For You?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an integrative approach to psychotherapy that views the human mind as a system of distinct "parts," each with its own perspective and role. Some parts may act as "protectors" (using anger or distraction), while others may be "exiles" (carrying pain or shame). In IFS, we work to help you access your "Self"—the calm, compassionate core of your being—so you can lead and heal these different parts of yourself rather than being overwhelmed by them.

This modality is highly effective for treating complex trauma, self-criticism, and internal conflict. By fostering a relationship of curiosity and compassion toward your internal system, you can unburden your parts from the extreme roles they have been forced to play. The result is a profound sense of internal harmony, increased self-worth, and a clearer sense of direction as you learn to navigate life from a place of Self-leadership.
