Hi, I'm Donna "Dawn"!

I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, starting out with adolescents and families. I worked at building strong alliances between kids and their parents — helping everyone feel heard and supported. For the past three years, I’ve focused on perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.

I take this work seriously — I know therapy often starts during some of the hardest chapters in life. My approach blends CBT, DBT, a humanistic lens, and a touch of humor when it helps. I believe emotions like anxiety, sadness, and shame are part of being human — not signs that you're broken. My goal is to create a safe, honest, and compassionate space where you can be your full, authentic self.

If you’re considering therapy, I hope you’ll take a chance — and know I’ll do everything I can to support you along the way. You don't have to face challenges alone.

When I'm Not Working

When I'm not at work I love spending time with friends and family, over good food. I find nature and animals calming, and currently have 3 big dogs at home that keep me busy. Concerts (when affordable) and comedy clubs are also fun.
